Garmin has introduced the Fenix 7 and Epix Gen 2 smart watches. They can be used for both GPS navigation and body condition monitoring for sports and fitness.
The Garmin Fenix 7 and Epix Gen 2 feature apps that measure your physical activity for different sports and advise you on how to exercise for better health. The gadgets also help you keep track of your sleep and different health indicators. In addition, watches with GPS, GLONASS and Galileo sensors offer various services for navigation: maps of ski resorts and golf courses, various points of interest on the map, etc.
Garmin Fenix 7 features a 1.4-inch touchscreen with 280×280 pixels resolution. The weight of the gadget is 89 g. The Garmin Fenix 7 has a battery life of 28 days or 37 days with a solar panel on. In “GPS only” mode, the watch lasts 89 hours or 122 hours with the solar panel on.
The Garmin epix Gen 2 features a 1.3-inch AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 416×416 pixels. The gadget weighs 76g or 70g for models with sapphire glass. The Garmin epix Gen 2 has a battery life of 16 days or six days of continuous operation. In “GPS only” mode, the watch lasts 42 hours.
The Garmin Fenix 7 and Garmin epix Gen 2 are 10 ATM water resistant and come with 16GB or 32GB of storage.
The Garmin Fenix 7 is available in three screen sizes (42mm, 47mm and 51mm) and three case versions: regular, with solar and with solar and sapphire crystal. The Garmin Fenix 7 starts at $699 and goes up to $999.
The Garmin epix Gen 2 is available in three colors: black, white and silver. The Garmin epix Gen 2 is priced at $899 for the silver model or $999 for black or white with sapphire glass.
