To do this, tap your profile picture and stats in the top left. Here you will not only find information about the distances you have covered while running, cycling and swimming, but also your personal records such as best times, longest distances and step records, but also interesting data on all steps taken and the number of all activities.

Tip 12: How to find your awards

In addition to personal bests, Garmin awards virtual awards, so-called badges. This is an additional motivation to move even more in order to win more awards. It doesn’t just have to be about sporting activities, it is also possible, for example, to use certain functions or social interactions with other Garmin members. You will also receive points for this.

To find your awards, tap your profile photo in the Connect app and select Activity. Here the app shows which awards you have already earned and which you can still unlock. Nasty: In the Best tab you can see how many and which awards your friends have received.

Tip 13: Edit activity data at Garmin afterwards

As a rule, your Garmin watch records your activities adequately. But sometimes it happens that you forget to start or stop the recording in time. In this case, neither the distance traveled nor the duration of the activity are correct. Fortunately, recorded activities can be edited and corrected. Here’s how it works:

1. Open the activity, for example via the calendar.

2. Then tap on the three dots at the top right and select Edit activity.

3. Now you have the possibility to rename the activity, add notes and change data like time and distance. You can also adjust the start and end points via Trim activity. Once you have made the necessary changes, tap Save.

Tip 14: How to connect Garmin data to Apple Health

As an iPhone owner, you can bring data from different wearables and health and fitness apps together in Apple Health. This also works with Garmin devices. Depending on your model’s sensors, Garmin transmits a range of data to Apple, including steps, heart rate, intensity minutes, resting heart rate and more. To connect Garmin Connect to Apple Health, do the following:

1. Open the Health app on your iPhone. From there, tap Share at the bottom, then tap Apps.

2. From the list, select Connect and use the sliders to choose which data you want Garmin to share with Apple and which not. Complete.
